2017 Black History Month Celebration
Saturday, February 18th, Kappa Chapter proudly inducted Tarrell Parker, Marco K. Merrick and Marcus D. Smith into their 'Society of Living Makers of Black History'. This year's theme was "Excellence in Spiritual Music". These three phenomenal artists are true pioneers and personify excellence in the field of spiritual music.
Business Month
Kappa Chapter successfully hosted a "Basic Principles of the Probate Process" Workshop on Saturday as a part of our Business Month Activities! Special thanks to Mr. Gaines Lansey of the Maryland Register of Wills for sharing his expertise with us.
Supporting the Arts
Kappa Chapter supporting the arts at Arena Players, the longest continuously operating African-American community theater in the United States! Kudos to playwright Deitra Wilson on her world premiere of, "A Father's Love"
My Sister's Place
Kappa Chapter volunteered at My Sister's Place Women's Center. My Sister’s Place provides 3 meals a day and access to services such as case management, education, and job training to women in Baltimore City.

Tonight was so much fun! Kappa Chapter sponsored Black Trivia Night in Randallstown. The trivia questions focused on African American women in business, and some featured notable members of Iota!  Special thanks to Karl Hunt of Black trivia Network  and Doresa Harvey for letting us be a part of your Trivia Night. Congratulations to tonight's winners team 'Freedom Fighters!'
Adopt A Highway
KAPPA in the community! As a part of our ADOPT A HIGHWAY Community Service Project, our Sorors worked to clean up a portion of Security Boulevard in Baltimore County!
